Old Grand Prix sketches

Ok…..Been a little slow lately.  Things a little tense at work.  Company just dropped the bomb and gave us buyout packages.   Ten years in the automotive field so far.  It would be great to switch careers and have another industry invest in this state.

Anyway…enough of that and on to some sketches!  Here are some older grand prix sketches I did about a year ago to get used to markers and pencils!

Really forced perspective here!   The wheels have the “wagon wheel” look to it. I just had a lot of fun with this experimenting with the media.

Another fun one.  I used a reference from a book that I checked out from the library on old vintage grand prix racing cars.   I think I still have the book.  Funny thing…the library never came after me.   Hopefully I do not live one of the “Seinfeld” episodes where the library cop went after Jerry for having an over due book for 15 years or something.

Vintage Porsche Speedster!  Would love to own one of these one day!
